U.S.-New York-Stock Market-Fall

220512 –  NEW YORK –  A trader works at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) in New York, the United States, May 11, 2022. U.S. stocks dropped on Wednesday after data showed that April U.S. inflation readings came in higher than expected.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average dipped 326.63 points, or 1.02 percent, to 31,834.11. The S&P 500 decreased 65.87 points, or 1.65 percent, to 3,935.18. The Nasdaq Composite Index fell 373.43 points, or 3.18 percent, to 11,364.24.
